Nutritious & Delicious Menu Suggestions

A typical meal plan includes the cost of groceries and features:

  • Between 3-5 entrees with appropriate side dishes
  • Special requests to accommodate your culinary preferences or dietary restrictions
  • Convenient packaging
  • Easy to follow heating instructions

Each menu, from Nutritious & Delicious, is planned using the guidelines from the American Heart and American Diabetes Associations. Point Values are also available, on all menus, if you are following this weight management system. Nutritional analysis for each recipe is also available.

Nutritious & Delicious has over 150 recipes for you to choose from. Here is a small sample of what we offer:

SOUPS

  • Chicken Tortilla Soup - Tender chunks of chicken, tomatoes & corn topped with crisp tortilla chips
  • Broccoli Cheddar Soup - A creamy blend of broccoli & cheddar cheese
  • Tortellini, White Bean and Spinach Soup - A hearty soup with cheese tortellini, white beans, spinach & artichoke hearts topped with Parmesan cheese
  • Vegetable Bisque w/ Seafood - A light and creamy combination of shrimp, corn, red & green peppers with onion & fresh cilantro

CHICKEN

  • Chicken Pinot Noir - Baked chicken breasts with tomatoes, green peppers & onion in a Pinot Noir Sauce
  • Moroccan Chicken - Tender breast of chicken strips cooked with ginger, cumin & cinnamon, topped with toasted almonds
  • Sweet Tequila Lime Chicken - Chicken breasts simmered in a sauce of tequila, lime & garlic
  • Cheese & Chicken Enchiladas - Baked cheese and chicken filled tortillas topped with salsa verde and cheese.
  • Chicken Lemon Pasta - A combination dish of tender lemon chicken, peas, carrots & pasta

BEEF

  • Pennsylvania Pot Roast - Tender seared beef roasted in the oven with red potatoes, carrots & onions.
  • Beef Tenderloin w/ Red Wine Sauce - Tenderloin steaks marinated in a sauce of red wine, garlic & clove
  • Stifado- Greek Beef Stew with garlic, cinnamon & cloves in a red wine sauce
  • Savory Stroganoff - Lean ground beef in a creamy sauce of mushrooms, onions & dill
  • Sun-dried Tomato Meatloaf - Lean ground beef mixed with sun - dried tomatoes, fresh basil and Parmesan cheese

FISH

  • Skillet Shrimp & Vegetables - Shrimp sautéed with eggplant, peppers, zucchini & tomatoes
  • Stuffed Fish Florentine - Fish fillets stuffed with spinach & corn, covered in a lemon mushroom sauce
  • Sicilian Cod - Baked cod fillets topped with a tangy mixture of onion, red peppers & Italian spices
  • Herb Grilled Salmon - Grilled salmon steaks marinated in a sauce of fresh basil, tomato, & white wine.

PORK
